The shell stores account and golfer-profile details needed to power shared platform features and enabled modules. This can include your name, email address, date of birth, gender selection, competition grouping basis, and preference to receive email updates.
This shared profile exists so golfers are not repeatedly asked for the same information when new modules are attached. Enabled modules may use this data for sign-in, golfer identity, leaderboard grouping, scoring rules, communications, and other club operations.
Marketing or club-news emails are opt-in. Service-related messages such as invites, password resets, security notices, or account notices may still be sent when needed to operate your account.
